(1) Ion exchange equipment is a traditional deionized water equipment, whose water quality is stable and the cost is relatively low.In the past, the power plant boiler supply water is treated by positive bed + negative bed + mixed bed.
(2) With the development of reverse osmosis, EDI and other processes, ion exchange equipment has more disadvantages such as complex operation, difficult automation, waste of acid and alkali, high operating cost, and more and more applications in deep treatment of reverse osmosis.
(3) small ion exchange equipment often use plexiglass exchange column, conducive to the observation of the operation of the resin.Such as mixed ion exchanger regeneration stratification is sufficient, whether the cation is "toxic", etc., resin loss, etc.
(4) The large-scale ion exchange equipment adopts carbon steel lined with epoxy resin or rubber lining, and the visual device is reserved in the middle to facilitate the online observation of the regenerated liquid water level during ion regeneration.
